Marina Fernandez Interview
Hello how are you doing today?
hi, I'm fine.
You're not originally from here, so how has your stay been?
My stay has been awesome, I think this has been one of the best years of my life.
Ok now for the real questions, you do a lot of stop motion how did you get in to that?
I really don't know, my dad has always liked those kind of things, but i guess i started playing with the camera, and i thought it was cool so i kept doing it.
What inspires the stop motion videos you make?
That's a hard question, usually it just comes to my mind when i listen to music, music is a really important part of my life and when i listen to certain song, the weirdest things come up. Also i try to watch a lot of videos from other artist so i can have more ideas.I would like to say that my inspiration or motivation to do projects, is a lot of times i want to do something special for my friends or project that people ask me to do.
How long have you been doing stop motion things?
I think first time I did it was like 6 years ago, but i never edited the pictures, because... and i know this is embarrassing, but i didn't know how to. But just about a year and half ago i finally learned, and started to edit and post things on youtube.
Would you mind sharing some of your work?
Not at all, you can find the videos in my youtube channel http://www.youtube.com/user/SonasBua?feature=mhee although I have other videos from my experience here in America.
How long does it usually take to make a stop motion project?
It depends on the video. The videos I do don't take me that long because I need the rest of the hours of the day to do school stuff or hang out with friends, but i think it take between 4 and 7 hours.
recently doing a stop motion video doing drawing by drawing and it's taking me awhile, i hope to have it finished before I go back to Spain.
Is there anything else you would like to add?
I did a reproduction list that is called "STOP MOTION" on my youtube channel.
